If you are visiting our school, and you are worried about the safety of a child, you need to do something about it:

    • If the child is in immediate danger, make sure the child is safe, inform a member of staff and, if necessary, call the Police on 999 or Lincolnshire Customer Services on 01522 782111.
    • If you are worried about behaviour in the school, please talk to the DSL or the Headteacher.
    • If you have other worries, talk to your child's class teacher who will share these with the DSL/Headteacher.
    • We will contact you as soon as possible, but at least by the next school day to inform you of any actions taken. We may not be able to give you details if it is concerning another child/family, but we will assure you that your concerns have been heard and dealt with.

How safeguarding is included in the curriculum.

Inspire CCT promotes safety within our students by providing time every day on arrival and throughout the day, to allow students the opportunity to discuss issues/barriers as well as allowing topic-based discussions. Every student receives PSHE lessons where subjects are specifically targeted. We also endeavour to cover a range of topics throughout the curriculum, such as:

    • Stranger danger
    • Road safety
    • Medicines and drug awareness
    • Sex and relationships education
    • Internet safety
    • Building friendships (anti-bullying)
    • Emergency services and first aid

We at Inspire CCT are committed to giving our students the tools and knowledge that is required to keep themselves and each other safe from harm.
